Here's some advice for you... Wear a secure pouch for your valuable documents. As you move around, it will be important to have a secure place for things like your passport.

Remember to get something that is comfortable against the skin and can be washed. You'll have it with you all the time and it'll get stinky!

I'd add a caveat to this. You can really look like a target with a bulging belt safe or neck safe. Seriously, split up your valuables. Only put a small amount of money in your pocket. Stick some someplace else. Sometimes I'll put my passport in a neck safe if I'm wearing bulky clothing, but in hot climes you look downright silly and like a target.

More importantly, have copies of everything and store them in different areas. Travel light - less to lose. Less to worry about.
