Leaving this mutt is not going to be fun. We're trying to enjoy the time we have, which often includes full access to nap-time on the couch and bed.

Maybe someday when you are in your golden years...you will be abandoned..someone who loves you and cares for you will leave you to do something they could have postponed. Have a great time!!!!
Hi Michelle,
We appreciate your concern for our dog and know the perspective from which you speak. As I've written before, leaving Amos is the hardest part of the trip for us, but I think that if you knew more about us, how he will be cared-for and all the things we've done to make his life one of luxury, you might not be so ready to judge our decision- one we made regarding our dog, our life and our circumstance.
Like us, we're very confindent that he will have a great time in 2006 and we both hope you have a good 2006 as well, Michelle.
