TwinF - Now Geotagged on Flickr

By: leelefever on September 2, 2006 - 5:56am

Flickr is surely one of the best websites evar.  We're using it to archive and organize the photos that we'd like to share on the web.  Just recently they released a new feature called Geo Tagging that allows you to arrange your photos on a map.  So, being the Flickr nerd that I am, you can now browse all our TwinF photos on a Flickr map

 Enjoy!

I just love this picture. I hope that we can get far enough North in Scandinavia to get it hooked up. It looks sooo cold.

Treo 650 for Mobile Blogging and Entertainment

By: leelefever on November 16, 2005 - 8:56pm

I've put a lot of time into trying to get the right gadgetry for the trip.  A couple of months ago, I got an unlocked Palm Treo 650.  Overall, I’m very happy with it and believe that I’ve made a good choice.  The big test will be how it does abroad.  One of our goals in packing for the trip is reducing size and weight and my goal was to get a device that packs as much punch as possible and sports a strong track record.

Amos at the door

By: leelefever on October 31, 2005 - 1:07pm

Amos at the door, originally uploaded by Lee LeFever.

This is a first attempt to mobily post a photo to Flickr and as a "dispatch" on the TwinF site. Hope it works.

Updated:  Wow, this is cool.  This is the first time I've taken a picture with the Treo 650 and sent the picture to an email address and had the picture show up on TwinF as a new blog post.  This is going to make blogging the trip via pictures very easy, fun and real time. Flickr rocks so hard.
