As described in a recent post, January 12th was spent on a day long bus tour up Cape Reinga, which is the northernmost tip of New Zealand’s north island.

This post is basically the picture side of that story with a little commentary…

We went to the Te Paka Dunes, where we could use little sleds to ride down.  Fun, but the sand was hot and my sled was a bit too small..

Sachi had fun on her's...

We saw all sorts of weird things on 90 miles beach, including a truck that had just flipped...
