This was one of the errands we were supposed to be doing in Bangkok.  Unlike many of the others on the list, the haircut was successful, as you can see.  The problem is that the two days we reserved for getting things done were on a Sunday and Monday- and Monday turned out to be May Day- a public holiday- much to our surprise.  I guess that means we have to schlep a bunch of stuff we were sending home to Japan tomorrow and pay out the yen to send it.

I had the unfortunate experience of getting one in Ko Toh when I got a haircut....they don't use shaving cream and the razor was dull.  I should've expected as much, unlike me, the Thai people are not a hairy, swarthy folk.....

I just looked at your photos on flickr and they are dated May 10th, 9th, etc. I know you're on the other side of the dateline, but today is only the 4th over here :-)

It is a perfect camera for travelling for us- waterproof and it's also a little drop it on the ground proof too. We're happy with it...
